1. Guiding ideology

This "Reading Festival" (December 5th - December 30th) aims to solidly promote the "Bookish Campus Action" and create a rich reading atmosphere. Use various forms of reading activities as a carrier to guide teachers and students to travel in the sea of ??books and enhance their cultural heritage. Create a campus culture with rich connotations and distinctive characteristics, and promote the comprehensive improvement of the comprehensive quality of teachers and students across the school.

2. Activity Objectives

Through reading festival activities, teachers and students will be stimulated to be interested in reading and develop a good habit of reading widely. Let every student love and be able to read, and promote the harmonious development of students' personalities; encourage every teacher to take the lead in setting an example and make reading a need for their own development and a way of life, thereby improving their own humanistic qualities.

5. Activity steps

The first stage: activity planning (end of November)

The Teaching Office formulates the overall activity plan for the Reading Festival.

Second stage: Organization and implementation (December)

(1) Specific arrangements for mobilization of the Reading Festival

1 Speech and propaganda under the national flag (December 3 Zhan Lina is in charge)

The opening ceremony will be held on 2nd (on the afternoon of December 4th in the third quarter at the school basketball court) hosted by Zhan Lina. School Jiang delivered an opening speech, and the director of the Political and Education Office issued a proposal for the Reading Festival to the entire school. School Cheng announced the specific implementation plan and requirements.

3 Hang the Reading Festival slogan on campus (completed from December 3rd to 4th, Deng Haixia and Zang Aijun are responsible)

4 Recommend students to read 25 books. (Implemented by the Chinese language group, Mo Jian is responsible, and reviewed by Cheng School. It must be completed before December 4 and issued to each class). Teachers create their own reading plans.

5. Post a letter to parents to promote buying books and reading. Launch parent-child reading (Secretary Ji Guojin is in charge and will be completed on the weekend of the first week of December).

(2) Specific implementation content arrangements.

1 Ask parents to take students to the bookstore to buy books on weekends (instructions to parents should include suggestions and require each person to buy 2-5 good books. Poor households want to borrow books from the library; mobilize students from well-off families to donate books) Books (the first weekend of December).

3 Teachers determine the reading list according to their own needs.

4 Teachers and students read like crazy according to the time arranged by the school. >After 515 days, there will be a book exchange activity between classes, and the class teacher will voluntarily pair up to continue reading.

The third stage: Summary and commendation (end of December)

1. Hold a campus reading lecture (the Youth League Committee is responsible, end of December)

2. Reading note competitions (responsible by the Teaching Office, end of December)

3. Teacher reading note evaluation (responsible by the Teaching Department, end of December)

4. Seventh and eighth grade students. Each class will arrange a display window (the Political and Education Office is responsible for this, at the end of December)

5. Each class will use the class meeting to organize an ancient poetry recitation or reading knowledge competition (inspected by the Education Office in mid-to-late December)

6. Select a number of "Reading Stars", "Bookish Classes", "Reading Activity Creativity Awards", etc. (at the end of December, the Teaching Office, Teaching Department, and Youth League Committee are jointly responsible).

VI. Activities Requirements

1. Each class in grades 7 and 8 is guaranteed to have 1 hour of free reading time every day (10 minutes each before morning reading, 10 minutes before quiet school at noon, and last evening self-study) (40 minutes per section); ninth graders use the time before morning reading and evening self-study to read, ensuring half an hour of reading time every day.

2. Everyone should read at least one book well (choose a good book, read it, understand it, and read it thoroughly).

3. Each person should do one thing well (note while reading, and take notes on reading).

4. Get to know a person (get to know the people in the book, get to know the author, talk to them, and understand their thoughts).

5. Each person designs a small bookmark (choose famous quotes, aphorisms, aphorisms, and illustrations).

6. Each student passes a good book to other students (exchange a book, make a friend).

7. Each student must submit a reading assignment (which can be a high-quality excerpt, a post-reading review, a reading newspaper, etc.). These are just suggestions. Of course, we hope that each class will learn something. Innovation, and ultimately requires each class to produce a collection of results at the end of the activity).

8. Each class organizes an ancient poetry recitation contest or reading knowledge contest.

9. Teachers will write a reading experience every two weeks and upload it to the campus website

"Reading Forum".
