Who can introduce the "Challenge Cup"? (College Student Competition)

The "Challenge Cup" National University Students' Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Works Competition is a guiding, demonstrative and mass competition in extracurricular academic and scientific activities of university students sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and the National Federation of Students. It is held every two years.

Competition purpose: advocating science, pursuing true knowledge, studying hard, innovating and meeting challenges.

The purpose of the contest is to guide and encourage college students to be pragmatic, study hard, be brave in innovation, produce more results and improve their quality. On this basis, it will promote the vigorous development of college students' extracurricular academic research activities and discover and cultivate a group of outstanding talents with academic research potential.

Competition mode: college students apply for natural science academic papers, social investigation reports, philosophical and social science academic papers and scientific and technological invention papers to participate in the competition; Hire experts to review and reward outstanding works with high academic and theoretical level, practical application value and innovative significance; Organize academic exchanges and exhibitions and transfer activities of scientific and technological achievements.

Entry qualification and application for works: All China junior college students, undergraduates, master students and doctoral students (excluding on-the-job graduate students) officially registered in full-time non-adult education institutions of higher learning before July/KLOC-0 of the year in which the final is held can apply for entry. Entries must be the results of students' extracurricular academic, scientific and social practice activities completed in July of the last year of the competition 1 two years ago, which can be divided into individual works and collective works.

Since 1989, the Challenge Cup has been successfully held for eight times in Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University, Xi Jiaotong University and South China University of Technology.
