Our school is a rural middle school. In the past, teachers and students were used to speaking and listening to Tangxian dialect. The far-reaching significance of promoting Putonghua and the responsibility of schools in promoting Putonghua and standardizing Chinese characters have not been well understood. To this end, we organized the teachers and students of the whole school to study the relevant documents of provinces, cities and counties and the spirit of the conference, and learned the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Common Language and Characters. It is stipulated in Teachers' Daily Work System, Detailed Rules for the Evaluation of Excellent Courses, Teachers' Performance Appraisal Scheme and Students' Daily Work System that teachers must write standardized Chinese characters on the blackboard, students' homework comments, lesson preparation, lecture notes and students' homework, compositions, notes and letters. Teachers and students must speak Mandarin in classes, meetings and other public places.

On the other hand, it is to strengthen the propaganda of language and writing work and create a strong atmosphere of language and writing work. We regard standardizing the use of Chinese characters in teachers' lesson preparation, writing on the blackboard and correcting homework, and the use of Putonghua in the classroom as an important part of teachers' assessment, which is included in the year-end comprehensive assessment of teachers, effectively promoting the implementation of the work system.

5. Strengthen the training of teachers' basic Putonghua skills and standardized characters. Every year, according to the actual situation of teachers in our school, we make a teacher training plan and train teachers in basic skills. Carrying out colorful language activities can not only enliven campus cultural life and create a good environment for speaking Mandarin and writing standardized Chinese characters, but also stimulate teachers and students' enthusiasm for speaking Mandarin and using standardized Chinese characters, and cultivate students' language literacy in the activities. 7. Do a good job in publicity week. We regard "Popularization and Publicity Week" as the "gas station" for the "double promotion" work in our school, carefully arranged and earnestly implemented. In the annual publicity week, we hold a poetry recitation competition around the publicity theme of "learning Mandarin well and improving Chinese literacy". Through the competition, several students were selected as "popularization propagandists" in our school. In last year's "Popularization Week", we held a flag-raising ceremony competition including "Speaking under the National Flag" in conjunction with the "National Spirit Month" activity, and launched a special blackboard newspaper selection with the theme of "Putonghua-50 years of popularization in the new century".

Over the past few years, with the care of leaders at all levels and the unity and cooperation of all teachers and students, our "double push" work has achieved certain results. More than 20 teachers and students of our school won prizes in lectures, reading, essay writing, calligraphy and writing competitions organized by the township center.
