How much radiation does the communication base station have on the human body? Why not inform the residents in advance?

I don't know when the rumor that the radiation of communication base stations is very harmful to human health spread. From 2G to 3G, from 3G to 4G, and now to 4G to 5G, there are still people spreading rumors. Is it because the signal base station takes up space and does not compensate them?

In our daily life, there are too many electrical appliances that radiate, from mobile phones that we can't live without to induction cookers, electric ovens, rice cookers, washing machines and hair dryers that we cook. Compared with these appliances, is the radiation generated by the communication base station simply negligible?

The coverage of communication base stations is very wide, and the radiation power is spread over several square kilometers, which is far more than 10 meters away from us.

Residents in many communities think that the closer they are to the base station, the greater the radiation, so they strongly oppose installing communication base stations on the roof. On the contrary, the radiation of the communication base station basically belongs to "black under the lamp", and the radiation received at close range is even smaller.

Why do you say that?

Because the propagation of electromagnetic waves is generally horizontal and the power in the vertical direction is obviously weak, we will receive less radiation directly below, just like an oil lamp. The darker the bottom, the brighter the distance.

Moreover, whether it is 2 to 3, 3 to 4, or 4 to 5 now, the change of communication base stations will not increase the amount of radiation generated. Instead of increasing the intensity of the signal, it broadens the width of the signal, just like the dirt road in the country has become a high speed.

Wu, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, explained this in detail at the 5G High-end Forum of Digital Expo held some time ago.

In the United States, the radiation standard of 4G base stations is 600 microwatts per square meter, while in China, the standard is 40 microwatts, which is ten times stricter. Everyone doesn't need to worry about such things at all.
