Brake maintenance process

First, lift the vehicle to a suitable position, and then remove the four-wheel tires. Some packages require four-wheel dynamic balancing machine transposition, while others don't look at the situation.

Step 2, clean the four-wheel brake disc with brake disc cleaner, then dry it with a cloth, and then evenly apply the flange lubricant to the brake disc with a brush. The purpose is to lubricate the joint between the brake disc and the tire, so as to prevent it from being rusted and stuck, which makes it impossible to disassemble.

Step 3: Remove the four-wheel brake caliper screws, take out the brake pads, take them out and tap them, there will be a lot of brake powder, then clean the brake discs with a cleaning agent similar to brakes, and dry them after cleaning.

Step 4: Rub the friction surface of the brake pad with sandpaper to make its surface rougher, so that it can be better combined with the brake disc and play a better braking effect. Then use sandpaper to clean the groove of the brake pad, which contains a lot of friction powder. After cleaning, clean the brake pads with brake disc cleaner.

Step 5: Remove the iron sheet from the back of the brake pad, and then evenly apply the brake muffler. Be careful not to smear too much, because if you smear too much, it may squeeze out when installing, and it may leak to the friction plate of the brake disc, which will affect the braking effect. Put on the iron sheet, put it on. If it leaks, please wipe it off in time.

Step 6, check whether the brake caliper return pin is stuck or damaged. If it gets stuck, pull it out and apply lubricant. If it is normal, there is no need to apply lubricating oil, because the lubricating oil for brake maintenance is not as good as that of his original factory.

Step 7: Assemble all the parts, adjust them to the appropriate torque, test the brakes, run in again, put the car down, and brake maintenance will be completed.
