The equipment layout of the machine room shall conform to the operation process requirements of the generator set, strive to be compact, economical and reasonable, ensure safety and facilitate maintenance, and meet the following requirements:

1, the unit should be arranged horizontally, or vertically when limited by the construction site.

2. When the machine room is adjacent to the control distribution room, the generator outlet and cable trench should be arranged near the distribution room.

3. The distance between units and the side of units to the wall should meet the needs of handling equipment, site operation, maintenance or arrangement of auxiliary equipment.

1, auxiliary equipment should be arranged on the diesel engine side or near the side wall of the engine room; The battery should be close to the starting motor side of the diesel engine.

2. When the computer room is set in the basement, at least one side should be against the wall. Hot air and smoke exhaust pipes should be extended to the outside; The air inlet and air outlet should be as far away as possible, preferably at both ends of the unit, so as to avoid short circuit of air flow and affect the heat dissipation effect. There should be enough fresh air inlets in the computer room.

3. The comprehensive control measures for noise elimination and sound insulation of the machine room should be taken. The treated environmental noise shall conform to the national standards or regulations.

4, for all auxiliary equipment (such as exhaust fan, heater, pump, etc. ) auxiliary power supply must be provided and done together with the distribution panel.
