How to measure bone mineral density

1. Single photon absorption method: Based on the principle that the absorption of radioactive substances by bone tissue is directly proportional to the bone mineral content, the bone mineral content of human limbs is measured with radioactive isotopes as light source.

2. Dual-energy X-ray absorption method: two kinds of energy, namely low-energy and high-energy photon peaks, are obtained through the X-ray tube ball passing through a device.
