The man firmly believes that "Chinese people can travel across mountains and rivers". How is he going to get to Beijing?

The man firmly believes that "Chinese people can travel across mountains and rivers" and plans to float his homemade raft to Beijing.

On July 5, the Water Branch of the Pengze County Public Security Bureau promptly stopped a man who made a simple homemade raft and tried to float it from Guilin to Beijing.

On the same day, the police of the branch received reports from the public during the patrol of the river that someone was driving an unpowered raft on the river, which was swinging left and right in the wind and waves, posing a great safety risk.

After learning, the drifter Lei (male, 42 years old, from Guangxi) had a ponytail and was wearing a white T-shirt. He calls himself an awesome person and wants to challenge the limit. He made a simple wooden raft which he made and lasted more than 75 days and more than 2,000 kilometers. He floated along the Yangtze River from Guilin, Guangxi to Beijing. Along the way, Lei also broadcast live on his mobile phone. When traveling to the Pengze section of the Yangtze River, Lei was discovered by the Pengze County Public Security Bureau Water Branch and the Maritime Department and was stopped in time.

After inquiry, we learned that Lei has a competitive spirit and firmly believes that "Chinese people can also travel across mountains and rivers and challenge survival in the wild." But due to lack of funds, he found a few wooden boards, plus PVC pipes and canvas to make a simple wooden raft, and went on a casual trip. The police found that the simple wooden raft was extremely crude. A small tent was set up in the middle to protect it from wind and rain, and wheels were "ingeniously" installed on both sides to enable it to walk on the road. Lei hung up a selfie stick and a slogan that read "The best person in hiking and water tourism" on the raft. He did not obtain any relevant legal procedures, was not equipped with life-saving equipment, and did not receive any professional survival skills training, so he "had no regrets." He started his trip to Beijing.

After taking Lei ashore, the Water Branch of Pengze County Public Security Bureau criticized and educated Lei. Lei expressed his willingness to give up the rafting plan. Currently, the rafts are being carried ashore for disposal.
