A few days ago, I called the Cultural Relics Section of Yanqing District Cultural Committee in Beijing. The staff of this section explained that the Badaling Great Wall is managed by Badaling Special Zone, which has its own cultural management department, which is responsible for the daily inspection and supervision of the Great Wall.

Subsequently, the reporter called the Badaling Great Wall Tourist Service Center and learned that since the introduction of the Cultural Relics Protection Law, the supervision of scenic spots has been strengthened. At present, the security guards and staff on the Great Wall will promptly supervise and stop the graffiti behavior of tourists. At present, the scale of the Badaling Great Wall duty team has reached 100.

In addition, the staff of the tourist service center also introduced that there is a cultural management department in the scenic spot, and the staff of this department will also inspect the urban area every day to check whether the cultural relics are damaged and stop the lettering behavior of tourists.

However, the staff said that due to the huge number of tourists in the scenic spot, especially in the summer tourist season, the number of staff is limited, and it may be difficult to find the uncivilized behavior of all tourists. If tourists see someone destroying city bricks in the scenic spot, they can report the situation to the uniformed staff and public security personnel around them in time, or make a complaint call.
