Part 1 World Ocean Day theme activity plan

1. Guiding ideology

2. Theme of the event

The theme of this year’s Ocean Day is: Pay attention to the health of the ocean and protect the blue planet.

3. Activity content

(1) Promote marine culture. Integrate marine cultural knowledge into the construction of campus culture in our college, and use various forms such as bulletin boards, slogans, campus radio, and websites to create a strong marine cultural atmosphere. (2) Organize marine-themed competitions. During Ocean Day, activities such as ocean knowledge competitions, speech contests, and ocean-themed essay contests were organized. (3) Organize marine science popularization activities. Around June X, experts will be invited to give lectures on marine science to students. (4) Actively participate in the pilot work of “Bringing Marine Knowledge to Campus”. Guide teachers to set up elective courses on ocean knowledge and use our ocean knowledge elective textbooks to bring ocean knowledge “into schools, textbooks and classrooms”, cultivate students’ interest in the ocean, tap students’ personality potential, and increase the popularity of ocean knowledge. IV. Activity requirements

(1) This activity is led by the Student Affairs Office, and the Propaganda Department, Academic Affairs Office, and Youth League Committee work closely together to implement it;

Part 2 World Oceans Day theme activity plan

(1) Carry out square theme activities. Implement the 2020 World Ocean Day and National Ocean Publicity Day - "Control Marine Garbage, Protect the Blue Planet" on-site signatures, popularize ocean knowledge and citizen consultation activities to increase awareness of ocean protection and express patriotism.

3. Content:

(1) The ceremony started at 9:00, inviting the East China Sea Branch of the State Oceanic Administration, Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People’s Congress, Municipal Government, CPPCC, Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Siming District , Municipal Maritime Public Security Bureau, No. 3 Institute of Oceanography, Xiamen Marine Forecasting Station, China Marine Surveillance No. 6 Detachment and other units came to the rostrum;
