3. Huandao Road

Island Road is built along the coast, and there are many scenic spots along the way. It is a must-see place in Xiamen. Around the island road, there are few tourists in the morning or evening, and the temperature is suitable. If you want to rent a car, there are bicycle rental services near the Baicheng School Gate of Xiamen University, Hu Lishan Fort, Convention and Exhibition Center, Yefengzhai and Yuepo. If you live in Zeng Cuo An Village Village, the inns there usually have rental service.

4. Nanputuo Temple

Nanputuo Temple is located on the edge of Xiamen University and can be played on the same day as Xiamen University. It is a famous Buddhist temple in southern Fujian and even the whole country, so if you are ready to pray, you might as well come here to worship. Behind Nanputuo Temple is the Five Old Peaks, which is one of the eight scenic spots in Xiamen. If you want to visit this mountain, you can also climb it for fun without extra charge.

The temple originated in the Tang Dynasty and was rebuilt by Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Nanputuo Temple is named because it is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva together with Fusaiji of Putuo Mountain and is located at the southern foot of Putuo Mountain.

There are two mountain gates outside the temple, the east gate is close to Xiamen University, and the west gate is close to the Bell and Drum Tunnel. Nanputuo Temple is very small. If you are not going to climb the five old peaks, you can go and have a look at them quickly. There are bell tower and drum tower in the hatchback, and the charity building on the left and Zhaopu building on the right correspond to each other, which is magnificent.

5. Zengcuoan Village

Zeng Cuo An Village Village is a small fishing village, similar to Gulangyu Island. There are also many inns and small fresh shops here. The buildings here are quite distinctive. Whether it's antique red brick buildings or Fanzilou in Nanyang style, the legacy of overseas Chinese is written, and the iron flowers and tiles that can be seen everywhere also add a feeling here.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, Zeng Cuo An Village Village is far less famous than Gulangyu Island, but it is precisely because of this that it can retain its original beauty.

There are many inns here, each of which is decorated with style and sentiment, and the price is generally much cheaper than Gulangyu's inn. 6. Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street

Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. People can shop here and often buy some seafood and the like. It is also a landmark of Xiamen, similar to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, but relatively speaking, it is more historic. Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, built in 1925, is an old city block, which retains a relatively complete modern historical feature. As Xiamen Ferry Terminal is the destination, many tourists who go to Gulangyu Island will stroll along it.

The buildings of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are arcades, with pink and milky white as the main colors, and have a strong Nanyang style. After years of baptism, mottled walls and old wooden windows are full of charm. Many cultural relics and historic sites have been preserved, such as Xiaozouma Road, Chen Huacheng's former residence, the First Temple of China, Xinjie Chapel and Jiangxia Guild Hall.

7. Huli Mountain Fort

Among the cannons, the most famous one is a Krupp cannon purchased by 1893 from Krupp Arsenal in Germany, which is still well preserved. This gun sank the Japanese Indocalamus 13 in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in 1937, which was the first time that a Japanese ship was sunk in China Theater.

The front of the fortress is expected to return to Taiwan Province and look forward to returning to Taiwan Province. You can see Dadan Island and Erdan Island through a telescope. There is also a new large-scale wall sculpture "soul of china" in the battery yard.

8. Jimei Xue Cun

Jimei Xuecun is located in Jimei tourist area, and its overall architectural style is a combination of Chinese and western styles, showing a typical style of overseas Chinese hometown in southern Fujian. The most beautiful ones are Longzhou Pool and Jimei Middle School by the pool, and the most worth seeing is Mr. Chen Jiageng's cemetery Aoyuan. Xue Cun was founded with the investment of Mr Chen Jiageng. Famous scenic spots include Jiageng Building, Longzhouchi, Jiageng's former residence, Chen Jiageng's life exhibition hall, Jiageng Park, Aoyuan and so on. Look carefully, they have their own ingenuity, and none of them are the same. Take the back door of Jimei School Village, and Aoyuan is next to Jimei Middle School. Inside the walls around the Olympic Garden is a group of stone carvings, which, together with the stone carvings around the entrance, Jia Geng's tomb and monument, form a stone carving museum, which is the essence of the Olympic Garden. The entrance of the Olympic Garden is 50 meters long and transparent on all sides. Two walls are inlaid with 58 bluestone carvings of historical figures. Over this wall, Mr. Chen Jiageng's tomb is located there. The tomb cover is made of 13 hexagonal green bucket stones, and the inner wall of the tomb screen has the life relief of Mr. 15 Chen Jiageng.

9. Sunshine Stone

Sunshine Rock consists of two huge stones, one vertical and the other horizontal. It is the highest peak and the best scenic spot of Gulangyu Island. Looking around, you can see Xiamen City, Gulangyu Island, the sea, Dadan and Erdan Islands.

Sunlight Rock is located in the south-central part of Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, commonly known as "Yanzai Mountain" and alias "Huangyan".
