1906 (thirty-two years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), Wuyun School was founded in Jinyun County.

19 13 (2 years of the Republic of China), renamed as "Five Clouds School".

1929, social leaders raised funds to establish a "private Wuyun junior high school" with Confucius Temple (the former site of Jinyun Middle School) as the school building. In the same year, it was renamed as "Private Xiandu Junior Middle School".

During the period of 1940, Jinyun County was repeatedly bombed by Japanese planes, and the school buildings were seriously damaged. Due to the war, the teachers and students of the school moved around the county and insisted on attending classes.

1944, the Japanese invaders retreated and moved back to the county headquarters.

1949 On May 9th, Jinyun was liberated, and the school name was changed to "wu yun zhen Central Ethnic School in Jinyun County".

1950 was renamed as "Jinyun Middle School" in February.

1953 was renamed as "Jinyun Middle School in Zhejiang Province", with Qi Guangyuan, deputy county magistrate, as the principal.
