A Ming Dynasty monk pagoda was newly discovered at the foot of Bijia Mountain, 50 meters south of Heer Village in Xi'an. It was built in the second year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (1507). The tower has 13 floors, is 5.5 meters high, has a hexagonal base and a side length of 0.8 meters. The second floor of the tower is engraved with inscriptions; the fourth floor is engraved with idol patterns; the seventh floor is a round stone drum engraved with "Twenty-fifth generation Qingtian Zen Master Ling".

Ming Dynasty monk pagodas are rare in China. The monk pagoda in Licheng has a unique shape and structure, which is an excellent material for studying Buddhist architectural art.
