Is it illegal to feed stray cats?

In China, it is not illegal to feed stray cats. Additionally, you may be held responsible if a stray cat you feed is found wandering the roads or attacking others. Likewise, if you let stray cats in a public space, you may be criticized or held accountable for disturbing public order. Therefore, out of consideration for your own safety and public order, it is recommended to limit the feeding scope to your own doorstep or community.
