2. The story of the Red Army Wall

"Going north to resist Japan, the Red Army passed by our village, not staying in shops or houses, but only laying on the floor in the alley ..." This is the story of the Red Army circulated by villagers near Daqiaotou Village, Baima Town, Chun 'an County (merged into Fengshuling Town in 2006). On the wall at the east end of the village, you can also see the anti-Japanese propaganda slogan written by the Red Army with a brush. This is the only trace that proves that the Red Army has been here. This wall is called the Red Army Wall by the locals.

Liu Chunfa is 70 years old this year. He listened to his mother's stories about the Red Army since he was a child, and now he tells them to the next generation. It was a day in April of 1934, and the people only knew that an army led by Fang Zhimin had come from Jiangxi (it was later known that it was the advance team of the Red Ten Army going north to resist Japan). At first, the villagers were too scared to get in touch with the Red Army. Liu Chunfa heard from his mother that the soldiers looked like their own children, and they were all amiable. They wear hats and sandals, and everything looks like locals except a big knife on their backs. The villagers soon understood that this was their own army. So I rushed to invite the soldiers home, but the Red Army was disciplined and only willing to lay the floor in the alley. Mother killed a pig that had been raised at home for more than half a year and gave it to the Red Army. When the soldiers left, they left three oceans.

When the Red Army came, the enemy fled. In June, when the second batch of Red Army came, in May, 5438+065438+ 10, the enemy assembled two regiments for encirclement and suppression. Unexpectedly, with the support of the local people, the Red Army launched a life-and-death struggle with the enemy in the mountains, winning more with fewer, and even defeated the enemy, not only destroying dozens of enemies, but also seizing several machine guns. But the Red Army also sacrificed six soldiers, and one soldier was seriously injured. The villagers buried the martyrs in the places where they fought in the mountains and left the wounded soldiers in the village to recuperate. But in the end, due to the lack of medical care and medicine in the mountainous area, the injured soldiers also died. So there are seven tombs of martyrs in the mountains. After liberation, the local government built a monument on the top of the mountain to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs.

According to the memories of the old people, when the Red Army advance team entered Qiaotou Village, it did a lot of propaganda work, mainly asking everyone to unite in the war of resistance and telling the people that the Red Army passed through here to fight against Japan in the north. The Red Army wrote hundreds of propaganda slogans on the village wall. After the Red Army left, the enemy returned and covered all the slogans with white lime. After liberation, due to the sun and rain, the white ash outside the earth wall fell off. People were surprised to find that the propaganda slogans left by the Red Army appeared on the walls of some old houses. Decades have passed, and most of the old houses have fallen down. Only the hall used by a villager in the east of the village to worship his ancestors still has an old wall, and the complete slogan of the Red Army can still be seen. With the support of village cadres, Ming Xin, the principal of the local primary school, polished the handwriting on the wall of the Red Army and restored the slogan on the wall to the appearance when the wall was rebuilt. The village also paid for the protection of an iron fence outside the Red Army wall.

Now, Chunan Baima has become a patriotic education base. Every holiday, local and other local cadres, people and students will come here to remember the martyrs. Older villagers will tell every visitor the story of the Red Army, and the children in the village are more familiar with the origin of the Red Army Wall. When they grow up, they will pass on these stories to the next generation, and the story of the Red Army's visit to White Horse will be passed down from generation to generation.

4. An almond is out of the wall

In the early years of the Republic of China, a Shanghai newspaper reporter married a famous lady, and they used poetry as a medium to convey their love. On the wedding night, the husband tried to act, but the bride stopped him:

"Since we met by poetry, you have to write a poem tonight before you can be husband and wife." The groom was impatient, so he casually sang:

"There is no poetry in haste,

And use Tang poetry as material;

You can't close the garden in spring,

An almond came out of the wall. "

The bride smiled and wrote a poem:

"Keenness is not poetic,

Also borrow Tang poetry as material;

The path covered with fallen flowers was not cleaned.

The door of the tent was opened for you today. "
