As the teaching director of xx College, I am full of hope for the teaching competition of young teachers. I am an authentic teacher and have a special liking for teaching.

I have served as a judge of the young teachers' teaching competition twice, and witnessed the high-quality teaching in primary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools and undergraduate courses, which coincides with the young teachers' teaching competition of ideological and political courses in xx College. Although I just watched, it was a rare learning opportunity. We should not only do a good job in undertaking and serving, but also learn from the wonderful teaching of players in brother colleges with an open mind.

To pursue educational fairness, we must first treat students fairly. There are also differences among Confucius disciples. "Those who are born with knowledge are also excellent, those who learn and know are also inferior, those who are trapped and learn are second, and those who are trapped and don't learn are inferior to the people." For example, killing me and Fan Chi was a bit stubborn or slow, while Confucius taught students in accordance with their aptitude, and their education was equal. It is normal for students to have differences in their conduct and studies. Every student has the potential to learn, and the teacher's task is to tap the potential. Students' low scores in college entrance examination in xx universities are not mental retardation, but their potential needs to be tapped, which puts forward special requirements for teaching in xx universities.

Heuristic teaching has been discussed for a long time, so Confucius attached great importance to heuristic teaching and put forward the idea of giving inferences by analogy: "If you don't take Sanjiao as an example, you will lose." In other words, if students can't draw inferences from others, we should consider stopping outdated teaching methods. Of course, inspiration must also master the temperature. "If you don't get angry, you will be threatened." "Students' thoughts are not containers that are filled, but torches that need to be lit. "This metaphor vividly shows the great difference between cramming and heuristic. When we fill students' brains as containers, there are many different containers, some of which can fill a lot of content, while others will be missed when filling. When we regard students' hearts as torches that need to be lit, all torches will burn and shine equally, and there is no difference between three and five. How to light the torch is a major problem we are facing.

For the fairness of education, we must care for every student. When celebrating the 350th anniversary of Harvard's founding, the president of Harvard University said: "The greatest boast of Harvard is not how many Nobel Prizes it has won and how many presidents it has trained, but that every gold that enters Harvard is shining." Harvard is like this, let alone other schools? In fact, every student has a certain potential. Our teaching competition today is to explore how to better develop and tap students' potential, which is of great significance. Mencius said: "It's three pleasures to be educated by talents in the world." We develop and tap the potential of xx students, and we can also cultivate talents. Let every gold that enters the school shine, and you can also get the happiness of engaging in education.
