1. Forests contracted by individuals cannot be used for graves. The contractor does not have the right to build a tomb in the contracted forest.

2. Individuals who contract forests only have the right to operate the contracted forests and obtain profits. They do not have the right to build buildings and other facilities on the forest land at will. Moreover, according to the "Funeral Management Regulations", it is prohibited to build graves in forest land.

Article 10 prohibits the construction of graves in the following areas:

(1) Cultivated land and forest land;

(2) City parks, scenic spots and cultural relics protection areas;

(3) Near reservoirs and river dams and water source protection areas;

(4) Both sides of main railways and highways .

Existing graves in the area specified in the preceding paragraph, except for those cemeteries with historical, artistic, and scientific value protected by the state, shall be moved within a time limit or buried deeply without leaving grave heads.
