On August 23rd, freshmen from Zhucheng and Yangluo Campus began to report for duty and military training. At the invitation of Li Hongling, head teacher of Grade One Senior High School in Yangluo Campus, and Huang Hao, director of the Academic Affairs Office, Xia Jianyi, a career planning instructor in Yuncheng Campus, gave two lectures for freshmen of Grade One Senior High School: "Career planning from the perspective of career empowerment-career empowerment helps them enter higher schools".

? Teacher Xia's report is mainly elaborated from three aspects. Part I: Why do you plan your career? Teacher Xia mainly promotes career planning from the changes of the times, and the new college entrance examination reform forces senior high school career planning. Positive and negative examples in real life illustrate the importance of career planning. Part II: How to plan your career? This paper discusses the meaning, task, content and career development flow chart of career planning.

Part III: How to plan for further studies? This paper discusses several ways of continuing education planning and how to realize the goal of continuing education.

? Although freshmen in senior one listened to the report during the military training break, they did not show any fatigue. The students listened carefully to the report and actively interacted with the teacher. Many students took notes while listening below.

? Teacher Xia's lecture was also full of enthusiasm and detailed cases, which awakened the students' awareness of career planning and made them understand the importance of planning early.
