Wang Jiangping pointed out that at present, China's economy has entered a very critical period. Taking accelerating brand as the core, integrating various elements, actively innovating independently and focusing on core competitiveness have become the new growth motive force for the long-term development of the world economy, and have also become the general understanding of the government, society and enterprises. Trademark and brand are a natural and inseparable concept. Trademark is the legal category of brand, and brand is the external manifestation and value extension of trademark. Brand building cannot be separated from the government.

Wang Jiangping introduced that in recent years, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce has mainly carried out the following tasks: First, according to the principles of reform and innovation, decentralization, combination of liberalization and management, and optimization of services, it has simplified trademark-related processes, comprehensively improved the level of trademark registration facilitation, and expanded the application channels for trademark transfer. At present, a trademark examination cooperation center outside Beijing has been set up in the national 16 local trademark registration application acceptance window, which shortens the examination cycle and lays the foundation for the realization of brand value.

The second is to use information technology to promote the diversification of trademark supervision, innovate supervision methods and strengthen supervision and law enforcement. At present, there are 28 acceptance points for the application for the exclusive right to use a registered trademark in 24 provinces and autonomous regions across the country, which is helpful to solve the problem of difficult and expensive financing for enterprises. At the same time, encourage trademark brand service institutions to continuously improve their service level and support social research institutions to carry out trademark brand value evaluation.

Fourth, strive to promote the internationalization of trademarks. Actively support China enterprises and China brands to go abroad, constantly strengthen the publicity and training of Madrid trademark international registration system, guide China enterprises to actively handle international trademark registration through Madrid system, seize the opportunities in international competition, and expand the international influence of China brand.

Wang Jiangping said that at present, the number of trademark applications in China has reached 210.37 million, the cumulative number of registered trademarks has exceeded10.4 million, and the number of valid registered trademarks has reached10.2 million. At the same time, the brand value is constantly improving, and it is striding forward to a brand power. China ranks 15 this year in the list of the world's most valuable brands 100 released by global brand consulting companies. At the same time, it should also be noted that there are not many global economic brands in China, the ability of brands to create economic benefits is not strong, the awareness of independent brands to explore the international market is not high enough, and the construction of brand power still has a long way to go.
