Walking through the West Qinling Mountains

Mackey, also known as Mackey Cliff, is located in the south of Mackey Township, Maiji District, 50 kilometers southeast of Tianshui City, Gansu Province. It is a solitary peak in the Xiaolongshan system in the western Qinling Mountains.

Maijishan Grottoes were founded in sixteen countries at the end of Qin Dynasty (384-4 17), and have been renovated and expanded many times. It was basically completed in the Sui Dynasty at the end of the 6th century A.D., and it is still intact. In this area, there are many bamboos, green mountains and rivers, surrounded by peaks, and wheat fields rise from the ground, which is beautiful. Known in ancient times as the "Crown of Bambusa qindi", it is a strange peak in Xiaolongshan Mountain at the western end of Qinling Mountains in China, with an altitude of1.742m, 30km away from Tianshui Railway Station.

Maiji Mountain is 142 meters high and has a strange shape. A solitary peak rises like a wheat pile. "Maijishan, north across Wei Qing, south gradually cross, 500 miles in the mountains. In the middle of the wheat field, a stone rises, which is as high as a million feet, hence the name. "

Maijishan Grottoes is one of the four largest grottoes in China. The other three caves are Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Longmen Grottoes and Yungang Grottoes. The main attractions are Maijishan, Xianrenya, Shimen, Quxi and Jieting Ancient Town.

Like Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Datong Yungang Grottoes and Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, it has precious artistic treasures. In terms of artistic features, Dunhuang is dominated by gorgeous murals, Yungang and Longmen are famous for their magnificent stone carvings, and Maijishan is famous for its exquisite statues. As China sculptor Liu Kaiqu praised: Maijishan is "the temple of China's sculptures in past dynasties".

Understanding the cultural status and geological and geographical characteristics of Maijishan Grottoes has opened the curtain for the West Qinling where we are going.

Our train stopped at Tianshui Railway Station early in the morning.

It was raining lightly when I was in the car. The legendary wheat accumulation and misty rain is a great scenic spot here. It seems that we are lucky today, and everyone begins to get excited for no reason (this is the characteristic of donkeys, who will not be angry with natural changes, and will go with the flow and be happy).

We arrived early, it was raining lightly, and there were not many tourists visiting. Nevertheless, our nine grotesque donkeys stood by the roadside and were stared at.

He chattered for a long time, using a very authentic dialect, which we didn't quite understand, but from his body language and attitude, we basically knew that he would charge, which made us very unhappy.

We quickly discussed it, and agreed that the lives of the villagers were not easy, and they could pay some money, but they could not encourage this ethos of "walking by once and leaving money on the road", so they sent them to negotiate with Uncle Wang.

Hagrid, Uncle Wang and the "manager" smoked and laughed together. From standing to squatting, it is estimated that the squatting legs are numb, and the three people stand up and chat again. It seems that there is no language barrier.

At the moment, we are just behind McKee Mountain, and we can also see some plank roads and caves in McKee Mountain. There is a faint fog in the air, and the Thousand Buddha Cave is more mysterious and reverie in the fog.

Standing behind McKee Mountain, looking at McKee Gu Feng surrounded by dense pine and bamboo is like gaining divine power. There is a cave next to each other on the cliff, in which there is a statue of an enlightened person who has passed away. It is said that the Buddha statue is the report of the awakened one, who transforms those world-weary people in this way and seeks liberation.

At that time, I didn't know why I was seeking relief. Just entering the society, just beginning to understand the world of mortals. I don't know much about Buddhism and consciousness.

We went from the front of the Buddha to the back of the Buddha, and we didn't have time to worship. With this in mind, the seven of us crossed our hands in the direction of Maijishan, praying that everyone should have something different. What ordinary people pray for is nothing more than trivial things, because ordinary people don't understand what grand ambitions are (now think about how tolerant the Tathagata will be when they see these ignorant prayers. After all, secular respect is also a kind of kindness).

Interestingly, at this time, an agreement was reached with Uncle Wang and the "manager". I don't know when the "manager" tea hoop disappeared. Hagrid enthusiastically told us that this Li Ge lives in the mountains, and he will take us for half a day today, and we will pay for his trip.
