First, not far from Yantian to Meisha, there is a road sign on the left indicating Sanzhoutian. However, because it is a breeding port, the armed police who guard the customs will be released according to their mood-it is said that they are employees of the Finance Bureau, and it may be more certain to go to the training center of the bureau. After passing through the customs, the road twists and turns slowly upward, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Sanzhoutian Village.

2. Turn right at Henggang 188 Industrial Zone to Pingshan Hengping Highway, and go up the hill from Biling (turn right before the toll station). This road is also winding, and along the way, you can see various slogans such as "The Red Army is not afraid of expeditions" (because there is a "Young Peng Base" training boy scouts next to the reservoir). After seeing the reservoir, turn around clockwise to reach Sanzhoutian Village.

Going up the mountain is a narrow road of Yili Mineral Water Plant at the entrance of Sanzhoutian Village. Along the way, the trees are lush and the birds are singing happily. Walking is the best. After Dawang 'ao and Xiaosanzhoutang Reservoir, on the right is the Alpine Orchid Garden of Agricultural Science Center. If you negotiate with Ruan, you can visit orchids of all colors in the garden. Walk a few hundred meters from Lanyuan, and an abandoned road on the left can reach Meishajian. You can't drive on this road. Be sure to park your car at Lanyuan or the roadside when climbing the mountain. The dirt road is close to the top of the mountain, and the last section is overgrown with weeds, which is more than 2 meters high, but it is not difficult to find the way. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the top of the tower.

Go south along the road, and there is a big reservoir on the left side of the road, named Honghuadai. There is a fork in the road below: left to Dasanzhoutang, right to Mule Peak, all dead ends. When you reach the peak of Rome, you can see the majestic phoenix tree and a mountain stream entering the reservoir upstream. You can see the beautiful scenery of Yantian in Dasanzhoutang, overlooking the harbor area and seascape.

Hiking: From Yantian Sub-district Office (about 200 meters northbound from Yantian to Henggang and Meisha fork), you need to climb over the barbed wire or take the staff passage of Yantian Waterworks (the door is locked but not locked). Along the water pipeline of the water plant, you can reach the top of Dasanzhou pond in about 40 minutes. Go along the highway on the right side of the reservoir, pass Honghuadai, Lanyuan and Xiaosanzhoutang, and get off at Sanzhoutian Village. Go counterclockwise around the reservoir, and go downhill through Chupeng Base, Reservoir Management Office and Pingshan Water Supply Company to Biling. After that (turn left after arriving at Hengping Highway), you can drop by or take an occasional motorcycle to Henggang and go back to the depth.

The walking distance of this route is long, and it takes about 8 hours from Yantian to Henggang (excluding Dengmeishajian), so it is necessary to make full preparations. But except the section of Yantian going up the mountain, it is all cement pavement, so it is not difficult to walk.

Due to the seasonal relationship, the reservoir has less water storage in winter and spring, and the scenery is slightly worse than that in summer.
