In August 2006, the main campus of Guiyang No. 1 Middle School was moved from Nanming District, Guiyang City to Jinyang New District, Guiyang City (now known as Guanshanhu District). The new campus covers an area of ??295,000 square meters and has an international department with an area of ??16,872 square meters. The school is divided into teaching area, sports area and living area. The dormitory is equipped with bathroom, shower room, heating, direct drinking water, telephone, data network interface and other facilities.
