Kang Jian’s personal experience

Kang Jian was born in Heze, Shandong Province. He once worked as a worker. With his love and talent for music, he was admitted to the Music Department of Shandong Heze Normal University. After graduation, he gave up the opportunity to stay at the school to teach and once again took the master's degree at the School of Music of Southwest Normal University, majoring in lyrics, composition, music education, conducting and other majors. However, Kang Jian, who graduated with a master's degree, once again made a surprising decision, put on a military uniform and became an art soldier. After resigning from the army in 2000, he was assigned to work at the CCTV Literary Center.

In the ten years since he changed his career, in addition to being a conductor in the CCTV Veteran Cadres Choir, he has also written and composed more than 300 songs.
