The Old Bridge of Guanyang Yufeng Bridge in Ming Dynasty

This bridge for the elderly was built by the people of the 7th capital in memory of the elderly in Qiu Fu, and it is still well preserved. Laorenqiao is located in Laorenqiao Natural Village, Xiyang Administrative Village, Guanyang Township, Fuding County. It sits southwest and faces northeast. It is an arc-shaped ancient bridge, with wooden structure, spanning the west beach. Its scale is quite spectacular. The bridge is 30.8 meters long and 8 meters wide. The main structure (bridge frame) consists of five parts and three floors. The whole barrel is 135 (excluding the cross-frame barrel), in which the four "earthworm" at both ends are 85cm in diameter. The top of the bridge is paved with sleepers nailed to the bridge deck, on which a bridge pavilion is built, with 56 columns, 4 of which are connected with earthworm, and the upper beam is nailed to rafters as a building. On both sides of the bridge, benches are set on this column, and wooden boards are nailed on the outside of the whole bridge to prevent wind and rain. Reasonable design and firm structure. The bridge pavilion is shaped like a long corridor with two shrines in the middle. One is a stone statue dedicated to Sizhou Buddha, Shuiguan Emperor and Zhenwu Emperor. Exquisitely carved and lifelike, there is a stone incense burner in front. According to the investigation, these stone statues and incense burners were moved from Pankeng Bridge (opposite to Gantou Store, which no longer exists) when the Old Man Bridge was completed. A niche is dedicated to the old man Qiu. There is a wooden relief in the niche, and it is difficult to solve the dispute. In front of it, there is a long stone incense burner engraved with the words "Qiu Laoren Gong". There is a broken gap on the back, which is said to have been left in an abandoned pool during the Cultural Revolution.
