His name is absolutely famous in Shunde's art education field.

I have known him for more than ten years before I knew it. I have always wanted to record his character and works of art, but I dare not write at will because of my limited pen power. Many friends said that you should have reported his deeds in detail a long time ago, so I overreached myself and made a sketch for Mr. Wu, a celebrity in Shunde painting and teaching circles, who was affectionately called "Uncle Wu" by everyone.

Self-taught and ambitious.

Seeing his achievements, I believe many people will think that Mr. Wu must have an artistic background, but this amiable and respectable "Uncle Wu" is a model of self-taught and self-made.

He was born in Lecong, Shunde, a poor peasant family with five brothers. He is the eldest brother. My father only studied in a private school for two years, but my mother can't read. Compared with his parents, he graduated from Panyu Normal University with a high degree, but from today's perspective, this degree is really insignificant. But Mr Wu Haicheng never felt inferior because of it. On the contrary, he is stricter with himself. 1966, when he finished his graduation, the Cultural Revolution began, and the work was delayed until the end of 10. /kloc-0 From June to June, in order to avoid more or less participating in the "critical" activities of the Cultural Revolution, he and his classmate, Cai Youhuan, the son of Mr. Cai, volunteered to go to the "Red Sea" to publicize Mao Zedong Thought and write the "Supreme Instructions". "Because I spend most of my time writing slogans and quotations, I have developed the courage to write big characters and laid a psychological foundation for learning painting in the future." Seeing that he was diligent and eager to learn, he gave him his only book, Mustard Garden, and taught him to "train". From then on, Mr. Wu Haicheng really began to study Chinese painting and embarked on a hard road of self-study. 1972 transferred back to Lecong Town, and taught in Shang Hua Primary School, Yangjiao Primary School and Pingbu Primary School successively. After teaching, he pursued his favorite art education and creation tirelessly, and walked towards the goal in his heart step by step. 65438-0978 was seconded to teach in Shunde Huaqiao Middle School because of his outstanding achievements in art education. Heaven rewards diligence, and success is no accident. In the end, he was promoted from a rural primary school teacher to a key middle school in counties and cities, became a national special-grade teacher, and was named "Guangdong Province Model Worker". How much hardship, sweat and effort he has paid, others really can't fully know, only he can deeply understand.

From blockbuster to excellent calligraphy and painting

In the early 1970s, Mr. Wang was introduced by Li Chaohua, the headmaster of a middle school, and got to know three painters: She, Luo and Luo. So when I was free, I brought some exercises to three painters to improve my painting skills. 1972 at the invitation of the teacher of the commune, he started to create and sent six works to the exhibition held by the county cultural center. As a result, five works were exhibited, which shocked the Shunde art world for a while. The works of a previously unknown "painter" were selected the most! At the summary meeting, he was praised by the leaders of the Cultural Bureau, cultural centers and the predecessors of the art world. His two works, Pig Farm and Beautiful Jiangshan, were selected for Foshan Art Exhibition. At the end of 1972, he and He Tang were sent to Foshan for a month's training and creation. "At that time, I really didn't know what creation was, and there was nothing as a result. However, I have opened my eyes and gained some experience. " Mr. Wu Haicheng said honestly. At the beginning of 1973, the Cultural Bureau issued a creative notice to him again. This time, I created a sketch called "Green Sea and Silver Dragon", which depicts the scene of drought resistance in sugarcane fields with sprinklers. As a result, it was highly appreciated by peers and county leaders, and it was listed as a key theme, so I devoted myself to creation. This work was selected for Foshan regional art exhibition, and was listed as a key work by Foshan and sent to the provincial art exhibition. This is the only work of 1973 selected for Shunde Provincial Exhibition. When it was exhibited in the province, it was also listed as a key work and was re-processed and created by the province. 1974, this work was selected for the Beijing exhibition. Since then, the whereabouts of this painting have been unknown. "Recalling the past, Mr. Wu Haicheng is as clear as yesterday.

After exploring some creative methods, Mr. Wu Haicheng's creation entered a period of vigorous development. From 1979 to 198 1, he was selected for the provincial art exhibition for three consecutive years with his own artistic style, such as Xiqiao's Travel Atlas, Water Village Festival, Early Summer and Theron, which became a story for a while. With this achievement, 1982 was approved to join the Guangdong Artists Association. Since then, his creation has entered a bumper harvest period. 1982 works "Spring of Overseas Chinese School" and "Celebration of Overseas Chinese Hometown" were selected for provincial exhibitions. 1983 The work "Pearl River Hydropower" was selected for the provincial exhibition and won the third prize. At the same time, the work was first published by the newspaper (Yangcheng Evening News).

Calligraphy and painting are twin arts of the same mother. China's calligraphy is an image art composed of points and lines, while Chinese painting emphasizes the plastic arts of images composed of points, lines and surfaces, so calligraphy and painting are in the same strain. In order to further understand the meaning and truth, Mr. Wu Haicheng's pursuit of calligraphy art is endless. He has read a book "Li Bei" for more than ten times. Also came Zhong You and Wang Xianzhi, Mi Fei and Su Dongpo, Huang Gu and Wen Zhiming, and also came "Preface to Lanting" and "Preface to Saint Education" ... He never tired of learning from others and finally achieved something. 1995 Joined Guangdong Calligraphers Association and became a painter with excellent calligraphy and painting.

Virtue, art and double happiness hold a dedicated heart.

If Mr. Wu Haicheng is conscientious in his artistic pursuit, and does not deceive himself, then in his life, he is also honest and sincere, always holding a persistent attitude.

At school, he is so humble and peaceful in the eyes of his colleagues; In the eyes of students, he is so selfless, so caring, so teacher, so friend; In the family, in the eyes of his wife, he is so full of family responsibility and a good companion in life; In the eyes of his daughter, he is so kind and caring, and he is a mentor and friend in life. He always thinks that art is important, while virtue is more important. Then, we can see the noble pursuit of a painter with both virtue and art.

After retiring from teaching, Mr Wu Haicheng is still full of courage. His artistic pursuit has more time to ensure and his life circle is broader. "In the future, I plan to contribute more to charity, help the poor and the disabled, actively participate in charity sales and community services, persist in creating more, hold some exhibitions appropriately, and make more contributions to the construction of spiritual civilization."

In front of him, he is as pure and fragrant as a osmanthus tree, which makes people bow their heads and think deeply; As tall and straight as a kapok tree, it has a beautiful character like a red cloud flower, which makes people look up.

Ye Zeng, chairman of Shunde Artists Association, commented on Mr. Wu's calligraphy and painting art: "Uncle Wu" is not only good at Chinese painting landscapes, but also effortless in dealing with figures, flowers and birds. His gouache and woodcut are wonderful, and his calligraphy and poetry are good. He remembers the past, praises things, or criticizes the shortcomings of the times. His literary theory is noble in conception, beautiful in writing, simple and meaningful. ..... Many of his works consciously pursue simplicity, vigor, heroism, richness, vigor and Wordsworth style. Such an evaluation is undoubtedly extremely accurate.
