What are the sixteen words of Chairman Mao's sixteen-character policy?

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Chairman Mao put forward the 16-character policy of our party and our army to fight against the enemy's rear: "The enemy hinders us from disturbing, the enemy is tired and I fight, the enemy advances and retreats, and the enemy retreats and I chase."

Chairman Mao also personally wrote a pair of couplets about mobile warfare: "The enemy advances and retreats, the enemy is stationed and harassed, the enemy is tired and I fight, the enemy retreats and I chase, and we win in guerrilla warfare;" Advance and retreat in moderation, lure the enemy deeper, concentrate our forces, break them one by one, and destroy the enemy by mobile warfare. " ?

Mao Zedong wrote in the article "Strategic Issues of Revolutionary War in China": "Our war began in the autumn of 1927, when we had no experience. Nanchang Uprising and Guangzhou Uprising failed, and the Red Army in Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Border Region also failed several times, and moved to Jinggangshan area in Hunan-Jiangxi Border Region. In April of the following year, the troops saved after the failure of Nanchang Uprising passed through southern Hunan and moved to Jinggangshan. However, since 1928, the basic principles of guerrilla warfare with simple nature have emerged, that is, the so-called 16-character formula of' the enemy advances and I retreat, the enemy is stationed and disturbed, the enemy is tired and I fight, and the enemy retreats and I chase'. " (Selected Works of Mao Zedong, vol. 1, People's Publishing House, vol. 199 1, p. 204. )

The "16-character formula" was formed in the guerrilla warfare in the winter of 1927 and the spring of 1928, and was widely publicized after 1928 joined forces.
