Why do Indians always think Xiaomi is an "Indian local brand"?

When times change, everything will change accordingly. For example, mobile phone brands in my country have also begun to change. Duowei, OPPO, and VIVO, which were very popular in the past, are now beginning to fade out of people's lives, replaced by Huawei, Xiaomi, and Apple phones. Now Xiaomi mobile phones are dominating the market in India, but the weirdest thing is that Indians actually think Xiaomi is an Indian brand of mobile phones?

The reason why Indians think so is because Xiaomi itself has built many factories in India and hired many Indians. This operation will definitely make many Indians happy. After all, who can make money? Are you happy? The key thing is that many of the recruits are Indians, which makes Indians very happy, and the people responsible for selling mobile phones are also Indians, which also makes many Indians mistakenly think that it is a local mobile phone brand in India.

But the Indians are right to say so, because Lei Jun has allowed many Indians to own shares of Xiaomi. Therefore, Xiaomi’s popularity in India has something to do with Lei Jun’s methods. However, it was not until later that Indians began to understand that the Xiaomi mobile phone that was so popular in India was a Chinese brand. I have to say that Lei Jun is so awesome, it is admirable.

Indians like to buy Xiaomi so much, mainly because they think it is their own local brand, so they strongly support it. However, Apple, Huawei, Samsung and other mobile phones are not so popular in India because Lei Jun entered the Indian market a long time ago and won many hearts. If Xiaomi mobile phones are not popular even after this, then it is really Incredible.

Just like Apple, it also entered the market in my country before and established many factories. Many of us mistakenly thought that Apple was a Chinese brand, and it was not until later that we discovered that it was an American brand. To say that it is truly a Chinese brand, I think it should be Huawei, because all shares of Huawei are owned by Chinese people and not a single foreigner, while other brands are more or less owned by foreigners.
