2. Cixi (Cixi), named after the stream in the south of the country and Dong An of the Eastern Han Dynasty, "a loving mother and a filial son", is located in the East China Sea. On the south coast of Hangzhou Bay. It is 60 kilometers from Ningbo in the east, 148 kilometers from Shanghai in the north, and 138 kilometers from Hangzhou in the west. It is the center of the three major urban economic golden triangles of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta and around Hangzhou Bay.
