Introduction to the scenic spot

Hongze Lake is the fourth largest freshwater lake in China and one of the top ten ecological leisure bases in China. Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve is the largest freshwater wetland nature reserve in Jiangsu Province, ranking 11th among inland freshwater wetlands in China and 2nd in East China. The scenic Sihong County makes full use of the resource advantages of the Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve to create a tourist attraction integrating ecological leisure, sightseeing and popular science education. The lakes here are vast, the wilderness is vast, the lotus garden is fragrant, the bridges are flowing, the reeds are thick, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. The tourism resources are unique and very attractive. It is a base for self-driving tours and photography in Jiangsu Province.

Distribution of attractions

Sihong Lake Wetland Scenic Area is located in Chengtou Township, Sihong County, Suqian City. It covers an area of ??5.2 square kilometers and is divided into five tourist areas, represented by the Reed Maze. Wetland cultural experience area, wetland science interactive area represented by Hongze Lake Yufu, wetland plant display area represented by He Qianyuan, wetland ecological health area represented by deep breathing channel and Hongze Lake Wetland Training Center Wetland resort and leisure area. Attractions in the park include Lotus Grand View Garden, Reed Maze, Water Station, Fisherman's Wharf, Deer Garden, Metasequoia Forest, Love Park, Rose Garden, Taoyuan, Jinsha Spring, Yuyue Valley, Camping Base, Fishing Fun Park, Hongze Lake Fish House, Bamboo Wings Music Square, Stone Mill Forest, Qianhe Garden, Deep Breathing Channel, Hongze Lake Wetland Museum, Plum Garden, Peony Garden, etc. The main protection objects of the park include: inland freshwater wetland ecosystems, birds and other nationally protected wild animals and plants, fish spawning grounds and the Xiacao Bay standard stratigraphic section. There are 194 species of birds in the reserve, including 26 species of national first-level protected birds including great bustard, oriental white stork, black stork, and red-crowned crane. Recently, the world's endangered bird Cathay was also discovered.

: Instructions for tourists

1. Tourists enter the scenic spot with a ticket, one person, one vote. Tickets are valid on the same day and void the next day.

2. For tourists who meet the preferential conditions, please go through the relevant ticket purchase and ticket-free procedures with your valid ID.

3. Parking vehicles must obey the instructions of the scenic area security and are not allowed to park at will; no vehicles are allowed to enter the scenic area without permission.

4. Children and incapacitated persons must be accompanied by a guardian when entering the scenic spot.

5. Please do not bring flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, radioactive and other dangerous goods into the park.

6. When entering the scenic area, please abide by the regulations of the scenic area, pay attention to safety warnings, and ensure safe travel. Please do not climb or climb over the safety fence, do not play in dangerous areas, do not damage flowers and trees, do not trample lawn vegetation, and do not enter the fence to take pictures; fishing and netting for birds are strictly prohibited in the scenic area.

7. Consciously maintain public hygiene and refrain from spitting, urinating, garbage, discarded plastic bags and products, etc. Please put them in the trash can and don't throw them away.

8. Don’t leave valuables or luggage where you can’t see them.

9. If an unusual emergency occurs in the scenic area, please obey the management and instructions of the on-site staff.

10. The scenic spot and its relevant administrative departments are not responsible for accidents caused by tourists’ own negligence.
