The Film History of Pingdingshan Pingsheng Theatre

Since its establishment on May 1980, the Academy has successively won honorary titles such as municipal civilized unit, provincial civilized institute, provincial civilized unit and advanced collective of national film distribution and projection system. He has participated in the central, provincial and municipal commendation conferences for many times and won the title of Million Theater for many years in a row.

From the end of 1980s to the beginning of 1990s, the film performance market flourished, and the box office revenue of our institute exceeded one million yuan for three consecutive years, ranking among the forefront of the film industry in the province, and being recognized by the society for its civilized service.

1984 was rated as the first batch of municipal civilized units in Pingdingshan city; 1987 was rated as the civilized theater in Henan province; 1988 was rated as the first batch of provincial civilized units in the province; 1989 was awarded the honorary title of National Advanced Film System by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television.
