In the same year, it was identified as a provincial key vocational secondary school. In 2001, Wuwei was evacuated and established as a city, and the school was renamed "Liangzhou District Vocational Secondary School, Wuwei City, Gansu Province", or "Liangzhou District Vocational Secondary School" for short.
