What is written on the Martyrs Monument in Nanhu Park, Changchun?

The monument was inscribed by Peng Zhen and written by Changchun Municipal Government. There are only two words in the inscription, which means that the martyrs who died for the liberation of Changchun are immortal; Pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed and contributed to the liberation and construction of Changchun, and be concise. The stone surface on both sides of the monument is engraved with the number "1948. 10.5438+09", which should mean the liberation day of Changchun.
