Qinghai has many mountains, overlapping peaks and valleys, and numerous lakes, canyons and basins. Qilian Mountain, bayan har Mountain, Animaqing Mountain, Tanggula Mountain and other mountains cross the whole territory, and more than four-fifths of the area is plateau. The average elevation of the whole province is above 3,000 meters, of which 67% are in areas with an altitude of 3,000-5,000 meters. The area above 5000 meters accounts for 5%, which together with Tibet constitutes the roof of the world and stands out in the world. High mountains and deep valleys, cold and lack of oxygen, dry and little rain, strong solar radiation, sparsely populated and harsh natural conditions.

Qinghai is known as the "cornucopia" and is rich in mineral resources, with 132 species of minerals found and 107 species of proven reserves. The mineral reserves of potassium, magnesium, lithium, strontium, mirabilite and asbestos 1 1 rank first in China, and most of them belong to. There are more than 30 salt lakes in the world-famous Qaidam Basin, with a proven total reserve of 70 billion tons. Only the salt from Lake Chaerhan can build a salt bridge 6 meters thick and 12 meters wide from the earth to the moon. By the end of 2007, there were a total of 492 mining rights1(including 94 mining rights1and 55 exploration rights1), 65 kinds of minerals had been developed and utilized, and there were 865 mining enterprises of various types, with a total mining output value of 20.034 billion yuan, which effectively promoted the economic development of Qinghai Province.

Faced with this situation, the provincial mining right field verification office and the special working group decisively decided to start work before the funds were implemented. "The grain and grass have not moved, and the army and horses will go first." First of all, since July 2009, they have carried out publicity and mobilization activities on the field verification of mining rights with great fanfare, and formulated and issued a series of documents on the field verification of mining rights; In August, the Provincial Department of Land and Resources held a symposium of state (city) land and resources directors to make specific arrangements and implementation of the verification work. At the same time, the verification team is selected by bidding, and the field verification operation team is determined through pre-qualification and bidding negotiation. In September, a special training meeting on the field verification of mining rights in the whole province was held, focusing on technical training, which clarified the overall technical requirements, operating techniques and methods, laying a solid foundation for the smooth start of the field verification of mining rights. At the end of September, with the active efforts and hard work of the competent leaders and relevant directors of the Provincial Department of Land and Resources, the funds for field verification of mining rights were finally put in place. At this time, it is the time when all kinds of field operations are closed due to heavy snow on the vast plateau. In order not to hold back the whole country and get back the lost time, the Qinghai field investigation team resolutely broke away from convention, fought against snowstorms and severe cold, and went in and out of Xuefeng Snow Valley, overcoming difficulties unimaginable to ordinary people. It only took three months, and by the end of June 2009, it met the requirements of the Ministry of Land and Resources.

Overcome all difficulties and fight the snowy plateau

Qinghai has a vast territory, with a length of1.2000 km from east to west and a width of 800 km from north to south, covering an area of 721.2000 km2, ranking fourth among all provinces (regions) in China. On the vast land, the mining rights are large and scattered. The farthest mine is more than 2000 kilometers away from Xining, and the largest mining right, Chaerhan Salt Lake, is more than 2250 square kilometers. Many places are inaccessible, with towering snow peaks and Wan Ren standing on the city walls, and traffic is extremely difficult. For example, the sulfur mine located in Shule Nanshan, the northern border of Qinghai, is over 2,800 to 4,000 meters above sea level, with high mountains and deep valleys. It is impossible to pass from Qinghai, so we can only bypass Gansu, pass through Zhangye, Jiuquan and Yumen, and then cross the Qilian Mountain to reach the south. Some places need to rely on horses and other primitive tools to walk for six or seven days to reach the verification destination. Climbing the snow-capped mountains and glaciers in the middle, going through hardships and dangers, always challenging the limits of life. Due to the shortage of personnel, difficult supply, lack of nutrition, erosion of corners of the mouth, intense ultraviolet rays burn the skin and make it shed, which has become the routine of inspectors.

Due to historical reasons, Qinghai national survey datum points are very rare, even these points have been damaged to varying degrees for a long time, and sometimes it takes several days to find a datum point. Some datum points are located at the top of the mountain at an altitude of nearly 5000. After struggling to climb to the top of the mountain, I found that the triangle sign was missing. Due to the scattered mining rights and large area, sometimes it is hundreds of kilometers from the survey datum to the mining area, and it is necessary to introduce more than 10 control points. In the meantime, crossing the valley is a huge workload and requires more hardships than other provinces and regions.

At the foot is an unfathomable cliff. If you want to rush down, the consequences will be unimaginable. Chaerhan Salt Lake has 1 1 mining rights and more than 60 points. In fact, there are many dangers hidden in seemingly flat salt lakes, such as extremely sharp crystals of salt shells and criss-crossing brine tanks with a depth of more than10m and a width of more than 4m. If people and vehicles are not careful, they will be destroyed in an instant like walking on a cliff. Once, when a verification team was doing field work in the mining area around Dachaidan, it suddenly encountered a sandstorm. I saw a sudden black wind, heaven and earth closed, the air was filled with yellow dust, and the rolling sandstorm swept through. The universe is in chaos and yellow, trees collapse and people can't breathe. Everyone quickly packed their instruments and hid in the jeep. As soon as they got into the car, they heard the window glass and the ceiling crackling, and soon they were completely exhausted. I waited until the wind stopped and the sky turned bright, only to find that the front windshield was blurred and turned into ground glass under the impact of sandstorm. Galonggema Pb-Zn-Cu mine in Zhiduo County, Yushu Prefecture is more than 5,000 meters above sea level, which is the highest mining area in Qinghai. While working here, the verification team of the First Surveying and Mapping Institute of the province encountered a thrilling scene: on the top of the mountain, which had climbed for more than two hours, it was just clear in Wan Li. When I saw a dark cloud coming, it suddenly became dark. In the blink of an eye, lightning and thunder rumbled around the members of the inspection team, and lightning fireballs seemed to be close at hand. The aluminum tripod in the hands of each team member sparks, and the thrilling story of each team member's leg can be seen everywhere in Qinghai's verification work, and there are countless examples.
