What do our passports and American passports say?

China's passport reads: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of People's Republic of China (PRC) requests the military and political organs of various countries to provide convenience and necessary assistance to the holder."

The US passport reads, "The Secretary of State of the United States of America hereby requests all relevant personnel to allow the American citizens/nationals named here to pass through without delay or hindrance, and to give all legal aid and protection when necessary." The US Department of Foreign Affairs hereby requests the relevant personnel to allow American citizens to pass through and provide legal assistance and protection when necessary.
