With reference to Article 2 of the "National Hazardous Waste List", solid waste (including liquid waste) with one of the following circumstances is included in this list:
(1) Having one or more hazardous properties such as corrosiveness, toxicity, flammability, reactivity or infectivity;
(2) Hazardous properties are not excluded and may be harmful to the environment. Or it causes harmful effects on human health and needs to be managed as hazardous waste.
With reference to Article 3 of the "National Hazardous Waste List", medical waste is classified as hazardous waste.
With reference to Article 4 of the "National Hazardous Waste Catalog", chemicals listed in the "Hazardous Chemicals Catalog" are hazardous wastes after they are discarded.
