I remember once asking someone a question, what is firefighting? The answer I got was "firefighting means putting out fires", but it is not the case. The production process of chemical companies involves chemical raw materials, most of which are flammable and explosive. This requires us to be more serious and careful in our daily firefighting work. Based on our own work actualities, let us talk about some of our own thoughts: 1. Strengthen fire safety awareness training and improve employees’ fire safety awareness. During the work, we found that our existing fire safety training is too simple. During the training process, we can only briefly talk about fire protection knowledge and some principles of using fire extinguishers, and let employees operate fire extinguishing equipment on site. On rainy days, even on-site operations cannot be achieved. Later, employees may forget about it. Strengthen fire safety publicity on the basis of existing training and continuously improve employees' fire safety awareness. We create a good fire safety atmosphere and enhance employees' fire safety awareness and skills by holding regular fire drills, holding fire safety knowledge bulletin boards, and posting fire safety slogans and fire accident cases. 2. Strengthen the maintenance of fire-fighting equipment to ensure its integrity and usability. During the inspection, it was found that sometimes the date on the fire inspection plate indicates that it has been inspected. When the fire box is opened, it is found that the fire extinguisher has expired, has no pressure, the connecting pipe is aged, and the safety pin has been pulled out; the fire escape is blocked, and there is water in the fire box. The belts and gun heads are lost, fire extinguishing equipment is randomly thrown at the scene after supervising the fire, etc... Every time I see this scene, I am very scared. What should we do if an accident occurs? If we are more responsible and take more action Give it a little time to check and I'm sure none of this will show up. Busy? Neglected? These should not be the reasons. 3. Improve the emergency mechanism and strengthen the fire protection infrastructure. The company established an emergency rescue team last year. Due to reasons such as personnel loss, the emergency rescue team failed to effectively perform its functions. Only by asking team members to strengthen daily fire inspections and strive to eliminate fire hazards; participate in physical and skill training; become familiar with the company's fire water sources, passages, fire extinguishing equipment, and the equipment and operation of fire protection facilities; and be proficient in the performance and use of various fire fighting equipment and how to use it. Only in this way can the company's ability to withstand sudden accidents and disasters be improved, and the hazards of fires and other accidents be prevented and reduced. 4. All employees participate in eliminating fire hazards and creating a safe working environment. One hidden danger is not terrible, but hundreds or thousands of hidden dangers are terrible; no matter how hard one person searches for and eliminates hidden dangers, it will not be as effective as everyone's search and elimination of hidden dangers.
