When is the National Defense Education Activity Day?

September 18, 2021 is the 21st National Defense Education Day. This year’s theme is: "Towards a new journey to a strong country, the military and civilians work together to build the Chinese Dream." National Defense Education Day is a theme activity day set by the state to conduct large-scale national defense education for all people. It is one of the forms of mass national defense education activities. Article 12 of the "National Defense Education Law of the People's Republic of China" stipulates that the country establishes National Defense Education Day.

National Defense Education Day is a day for all people to think deeply and to be vigilant. All people who cherish peace and a happy life should unconditionally shoulder their civic responsibilities, support and participate in national defense education, and contribute to national defense and military construction.

The significance of National Security Education Day

Through a series of activities on National Security Education Day, the government and the public can effectively understand the various requirements put forward by the National Security Law, so as to Strengthen the awareness of responsibility and improve everyone's ability to safeguard national security.
