In recent years, Volvo has successively launched several pure electric models. Among them, the C40, as Volvo's first model that only provides pure electric power, will officially enter the Chinese market.

In terms of appearance, C40? RECHARGE retains the Volvo family-style design language, the classic Thor’s Hammer headlight set, and adopts new smart pixel headlight technology. The closed front grille on the front highlights the car's pure electric vehicle attributes, and paired with Volvo's classic slash design logo, it not only creates a sense of technology but also creates a sporty atmosphere.

On the side of the car, the streamlined fastback shape of the coupe is the highlight of this car. The obvious concave design under the door and the protruding side waistlines at the front and rear give the vehicle a visual effect of being ready to go. At the same time, the new car is equipped with a wheel shape derived from the 360C concept car, and the cut edge profile looks very dynamic.

On the roof at the rear of the car, there are two raised spoilers, which together with the small rear wing located above the tailgate, look very playful and add a lot of sportiness to the whole vehicle. It is worth mentioning that the taillights adopt the Viking ax sequential taillights for the first time. The geometric line light strip above the fastback, combined with its welcoming light effect, is very recognizable when lit at night.

In terms of power, Volvo C40 RECHARGE is equipped with a power system with front and rear dual motors, with a maximum power of 300kW, a maximum torque of 660N·m, and an official acceleration time of 100 kilometers per hour of 4.7 seconds, which is very powerful. In addition, the new car is equipped with a 78kW·h battery pack with a WLTP cruising range of 420km, which can meet the needs of daily urban commuting.
