Sixteen-character court motto

The 16-character motto of the court is: respect morality and abide by the law, for the public and the people; Do your duty and strive to create the soul of law. Take "responsibility" as the guidance, "innovation" as the mission, "pragmatism" as the first duty and "transcendence" as the goal. All police officers are required to base themselves on their duties, be brave in innovation, be pragmatic and dare to surpass them.

Article 1 This Law is formulated in accordance with the Constitution in order to standardize the establishment, organization and functions of the people's courts and ensure that the people's courts perform their duties according to law.

Article 5 The people's courts shall apply laws equally in handling cases. No organization or individual shall have the privilege beyond the law, and any form of discrimination is prohibited.

Article 6 The people's courts adhere to judicial justice, take facts as the basis, take the law as the criterion, abide by legal procedures, protect the litigation rights and other legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations according to law, and respect and protect human rights.

Article 11 The people's courts shall accept the supervision of the people and ensure that the people enjoy the right to know, participate and supervise the work of the people's courts according to law.
