What do dynamic zeroing and social zeroing mean?

"Dynamic zero clearing" is a basic principle and goal that China adheres to in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic. When there is a local epidemic, all government departments act quickly, "find one and put it out together", quickly cut off the transmission chain and maintain the goal of no cases in society. "Dynamic" means not pursuing absolute zero infection; "Clearing" is the bottom line to keep the epidemic from rebounding on a large scale.

The epidemic prevention practice in China has proved that "dynamic zero clearing" is still the most economical and effective prevention and control strategy to control the epidemic situation in COVID-19, which needs to be continued.

"Social clearing" refers to the community spread of the epidemic. If all the new COVID-19 patients in the cities or regions where the epidemic has spread in the community are under control (for example, they are all in isolated control places or closed-loop management places) and will not spread to others, it is equivalent to social security and can be called "social zero clearing". "Clear social coverage" shows that community communication in COVID-19 has been initially blocked, which is a prerequisite for gradual smooth flow.

It should be noted that after "social clearing", it does not mean that it is completely unsealed. Residents still need to strengthen prevention, actively and consciously implement measures such as nucleic acid detection, antigen self-test and health monitoring to prevent the epidemic from rebounding. Even if it is unsealed, it is necessary to "unblock and combine" to ensure and consolidate the results of epidemic prevention and control.
