Huangyangtan: Forty miles southeast of Xuanhua City. There is a big beach 20 miles long and 10 miles wide. It is the largest of the five deserts in Zhangjiakou. Since 1986, Huangyangtan Forest Farm and the army shooting range have been persistently planting trees, including Platycladus orientalis, Pinus tabulaeformis, willow, elm, Populus alba, Sophora japonica, mulberry, torch and Elaeagnus angustifolia. Now green has covered the whole desert and become a green ocean. Go to Huangyangtan to play with sand, pick wild jujube in autumn and see the vast scenery of Yanghe Reservoir. There are dozens of acres of plum gardens in the west of the reservoir dam, and plum blossoms can be enjoyed in mid-April.

Route: From the east gate of Xiaodongmen to the south of the development zone, cross Houjiamiao and continue to the southeast, then turn east over Nihezi and Banpo Street, turn east over a southeast asphalt road from Banpo Street Village, turn south for 5 miles to Zhanjiazhuang, and turn west from Zhanjiazhuang over Yanghe Reservoir Dam to the south.

Bailin Temple: Seventy miles south of Xuanhua, it is a cave temple with dense cypress trees on the mountain, so it is called Bailin Temple. Lin Temple was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty and was overhauled from the first year to the fourth year of Ming Dynasty (1567- 1570). It consists of stupas and so on. 1982, Bailin Temple was announced by the People's Government of Hebei Province as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.

Route: Go out of Xuanhua City, cross Yanghe Bridge, go south to Likouquan, continue southbound, cross Guojiawan, Haizigou and Cai Jiazhuang, go uphill and downhill, and bypass Panshan Highway.

Dishuiya: dishuiya is located in the southwest of Xuanhua City, belonging to Tacun Township, 37 miles away from Xuanhua City. It is named after long-term dripping in the gap of the cliff in the east of the village. When there was a lot of snow last winter, it was easy to form an ice tower five to ten meters high under the cliff, which was very spectacular.

Route: Take the national highway 1 12 in the southwest of Xuanhua City, cross Ertaizi, go west along Tujiao Highway, cross Xinsheng, New Fan Zhuang and army barracks, then take the asphalt road at Sanjian to the south, take the small asphalt road to the south, cross Pangjiafang (there are thousands of acres of apricot orchards in the south of the village, and apricot flowers can be seen in mid-April) and Qianbao. After crossing the old fort, you will drive 7 miles south. There is a fork in the road.
