Table tennis has a long history in Danzishi Primary School, since it was founded in 1962 by Xu Youming, Su Zhiping, Deng Dongxu and others, named Table Tennis Youth Amateur Sports school. So far, table tennis special events have a development history of nearly 50 years. From 1982 to 1987, it was named "Chongqing Table Tennis Traditional Project School" by the Chongqing Municipal Education Bureau and Sports Bureau for six consecutive years. In 1988, it was officially named "Sichuan Table Tennis Traditional Project School" after acceptance by the Sichuan Provincial Education Bureau and Sports Bureau. Project School". The school has worked hard on table tennis education, opened table tennis training courses, created self-composed table tennis exercises, formed table tennis characteristics, and sent world champions to professional teams across the country, provinces and cities.
