Campus environment of the first middle school in Pingding County

There is an eye-catching slogan on the front of the entrance hall of the teaching building, which reads the school motto, school spirit, teaching style and study style of Pingding No.1 Middle School. This is their charm of pursuing Excellence and striving for glory. President Li led us to the lobby on the first floor of the teaching building, only to see the beautiful page saying "Let ambition and wisdom shine". This modern lyric poem is their teacher's oath to create a model high school, which embodies the lofty ideals and great ambitions of the whole school staff. The book also briefly introduces the brilliant achievements made by Jiao Jiao students in the past century, including the famous Pingding academic giant, talented woman Shi Pingmei, translator Guan Qidong, meteorologist Zhang Naizhao and senior academician Zhang Peilin. Some students go abroad to study or work, some are sent to Tsinghua and Peking University, and some have made outstanding achievements in local economic and cultural construction without being sent to colleges and universities.

On the east side of the teaching building, there is another beautiful scenery. There is a rockery fountain in the north, lush grass in the south and a cultural corridor in the middle. The students named it "Xiangyuan": First of all, from the shape, the corridor looks like a young eagle spreading its wings; The second is to express the meaning that ideals can spread their wings and fly in a meaningful way. On the pillar of Xiangyuan, there is a couplet inscribed by Mr. Wang Shimao, Chairman of Pingding County Couplet Poetry Association: "The ideal should spread its wings and fly passionately over the campus." On both sides of the promenade, there are six illustrated poems composed of exquisite pages: "The Voice of Xiangyuan" in the north and "The Song of Green Garden" in the south, which add a lot of charm to this landscape.

On the west side of the teaching building is "Paradise", where there is a blackboard newspaper area for students, and the north and south corridors are also inlaid with "Paradise Heart Rhythm" and "Three Realms of Learning". These beautiful poems are in harmony with the environment here and play a subtle role in encouraging students to learn. Yes, when we were there, we also deeply felt: "The ocean of knowledge is full of joy, and this is our knowledge paradise. Literature is still famous, and a century-old school is full of vitality. " There is a new bridge between the North College District and the newly expanded South College District, which is called "Champion Bridge". The headmaster told us that they aim to encourage students to study hard and realize their dreams. They don't want everyone to go to school. I hope everyone can become a champion in all walks of life. From the playground to the south, cross the newly completed Zhuangyuan Bridge and enter the newly expanded South College District. There is a new teaching building with an investment of 6 million yuan, which can accommodate 40 classes. There are four characters "Light of Hope" hanging on the building.
