National documents prohibit mobile phones from entering the campus: The General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Strengthening the Management of Mobile Phones for Primary and Secondary School Students (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), which put forward specific requirements for strengthening the management of mobile phones for primary and secondary school students.

The notice requires that primary and secondary school students should not bring personal mobile phones into the campus in principle. If necessary, parents must agree and apply in writing. After entering the school, the mobile phone will be kept by the school, and it is forbidden to bring it into the classroom.

The notice stressed that schools should incorporate mobile phone management into the daily management of schools, formulate specific measures, clarify the place, method and responsible person for unified storage, provide necessary storage devices, and must not use mobile phones to arrange homework or require students to use mobile phones to complete homework.
