What is the difference between FQC and OQC?

There are differences between FQC and OQC in concepts, inspection objects and objectives:

FQC refers to all visual inspections before packaging. It can also be said that it is a full inspection, and OQC is a sampling inspection of finished products. FQC: final quality control (final inspection). Delivery quality control (delivery inspection).

FQC mainly includes: appearance inspection (color, luster, roughness, burr and scratch), size/aperture measurement, performance test (physical/chemical characteristics, electrical characteristics, mechanical characteristics and operation control of materials), comprehensive and final inspection and testing.

OQC is the quality inspection/quality audit and control of products before shipment. It mainly checks and confirms the packaging status, anti-collision materials, product identification/safety labels, accessories, user manuals/warranties, additional software CDs, product performance test reports, outer box labels, etc.

(3) Their goals are different:

The purpose of FQC is to ensure that the products meet the requirements of shipping specifications and even meet the requirements of customers. OQC's target customers are consistent with the agreed contents at the time of receipt, and the delivery is in full compliance with the standards.

The disposal of nonconforming products found after OQC, depending on the unqualified situation, can return to the pre-process stage or semi-finished stage for rework or repair, and then pass OQC inspection again. If the product has quality defects that cannot be reworked or repaired, it will be directly scrapped and included in the cost items of production loss; Or degraded (downgraded) and sold to customers with lower quality requirements.

The "Delivery Quality Control" of some manufacturers will conduct another sampling inspection on the shipped products. The quality inspection at this stage focuses on the "sampling inspection", which is different from the "full inspection" at the FQC stage.

Of course, for products with high unit price or high grade, the overall condition of the product (main products themselves, accessories, user manuals &; A full inspection is required again (100% full inspection).
