National bullfrog breeding policy in 2022

Due to environmental protection, epidemic situation and other reasons, bullfrogs are forbidden to be kept in some places.

Article 1 targets and contents of remediation

Bullfrog breeding is prohibited in the drinking water source protection area of the city, and all existing bullfrog farms are limited to be retired or shut down before June 30, 2022; Within the city, bullfrog farms with irregular licenses, occupation of damaged farmland, incomplete pollution control facilities or substandard aquaculture sewage discharge will be retired or shut down before July 3, 2022.

Article 2 Repair Time and Requirements

Each township (town) field shall, in accordance with the principle of territorial management, organize the investigation and registration of bullfrog breeding within its jurisdiction, establish relevant work accounts, and carry out centralized rectification. The investigation and inventory will be completed before June 15, 2022, and centralized rectification will be carried out from mid-June. Forestry, agriculture, marine and fishery, environmental protection, water conservancy, land and other relevant departments should publicize relevant laws, regulations and policies, and strengthen supervision and cooperation. For those who fail to retreat and close the demolition within the prescribed time limit, the relevant departments and the township people's governments and agricultural and forestry farms where the farm is located will take compulsory retreat or close the demolition measures; Anyone suspected of violating the law and committing crimes will be investigated for responsibility according to law.
