At the end of Yuan Dynasty, influenced by Tibetans and Tu nationality, men and women of Baoan nationality wore robes and hats in spring, summer and autumn.

The costumes of this period have the characteristics of Tibetan and Tu costumes. During the reign of Xianfeng and Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, security guards moved to Dahejia area in Jishishan, Gansu Province, and kept close contact with the Hui, Dongxiang and Han nationalities around them, and their costumes changed obviously. Usually, men like to wear white or blue soft hats, white shirts and green vests; On festivals, people usually wear hats, black striped robes, colored belts, waist knives and cowhide boots.

Women usually wear purple or dark green corduroy tops, blue or black pants, some like to wear knee-length robes, and more pink pants on their lower bodies, which makes them look elegant and handsome.

Now, security guards usually wear white hats, white shirts, black vests and blue or gray pants. When visiting relatives and friends or going out, wear more Chinese tunic suit or military casual clothes. Women wear right-handed shirts, trousers, double-breasted jackets or waistcoats. Adult women wear hijab or headscarf and all kinds of small jewelry. Bao 'an men usually wear white shirts, green vests, black, blue and gray trousers and a black and white dome. On festive occasions, I like to wear a black striped velvet robe with lapels, large lapels and hemming, a colorful belt with a high waist and a length of 5 feet, a hat and boots.
