You hold high the sickle and hammer,

Because you represent the workers and farmers in China.

"July 1 day" 38 years ago,

I raise my right hand and swear to you,

I always recall the journey in July 1 day every year.

Unforgettable is:

"Three Great Mountains" in old China,

China is devastated and its people are in dire straits.

The voice of the October Revolution in the Soviet Union,

Sent Marxism-Leninism.

The road to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,

From the artillery fire in Chengtou, Nanchang to the bonfire in Jinggangshan;
