Provisions on How to Punish Civil Stealing Electricity

On June 2 1 day, the Emergency Management Department issued the Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-rise Civil Buildings (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), which came into effect on August 1 day. The "Regulations" explicitly prohibit electric bicycles from parking and charging in the public foyer and stairwell of high-rise civil buildings, and offenders can be fined up to 1 10,000 yuan.

Legal basis:

Article 37 of the Emergency Management Department's Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-rise Civil Buildings prohibits parking or charging electric bicycles in the public foyer, evacuation walkway, stairwell and safety exit of high-rise civil buildings.

Encourage the establishment of centralized storage and charging places for electric bicycles in high-rise residential quarters. The storage and charging places of electric bicycles should be set up independently and keep a safe distance from high-rise civil buildings; If it is really necessary to set it in a high-rise civil building, it should be separated from other parts of the building by fire prevention.

The storage and charging places of electric bicycles shall be equipped with necessary fire-fighting equipment, and the charging facilities shall have automatic power-off function.
