This is an important link in the basic construction project of the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone.

The subgrade width of the first-class highway is 23 to 32 meters, with two-way four or six lanes, and a design speed of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour; the design speed of the urban Class I trunk road is 50 to 60 kilometers per hour; both sides of the roadbed are determined according to specific road sections. Taking into account the topography and terrain, a 30-meter-wide green belt will be set up. The green belt part will be larger than the two sides of Fuzhou Jiangbin Avenue. At the same time, some urban sculptures will be combined to arrange some green landscapes. Some of the tree species planted are the same as those on the landscape avenue, mainly tree species that are windproof and sand-fixing, taking into account the modeling effect. .

In addition, the entire construction process will be constructed in phases according to the plan of "one-time planning, implementation in phases and sections". Construction can be carried out on the sections that are ready for construction without waiting. After the entire project is completed, the Ring Island Road can also be used as a competition venue for the international Ring Island Road Cycling Race and Marathon.

It is understood that Xiamen will focus on the implementation of the "Pingtan Ring Island Road Speed ??Improvement Project" with a planned investment of 1.1 billion yuan. The first phase of the project has basically completed the preliminary work in the first half of the year and will complete 20 kilometers per year; the second phase of the project is scheduled to start in 12 kilometer. Implement the "Rural Road Renovation Project" with a planned investment of 1.68 billion yuan to build approximately 2,265 kilometers of rural roads. Implementing the "Incorporated Village Road Hardening Project", it is planned to invest 320 million yuan to build 535 kilometers of roads leading to organized villages, and fully complete the hardening construction of village roads in the remaining 109 organized villages. 100% of the province's organized villages have achieved the goal of having access to hardened roads.
